SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY
Protect families and business owners by expanding the residential and commercial customer base of Spot Security's state-of-the-art security system packages. Contribute to the strategic business plan for the organization. Plan, organize and implement sales and marketing programs for the region. Plan and achieve sales objectives. Train, develop and mentor Appointment Setting and/or Outside Sales Consultants. Coordinate budgets, forecasts and reports. Personally contact and secure new customers, typically business accounts with multiple site locations.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Overview

- Sales
- Provide current market information such as current trends, sales techniques, and suggested marketing programs to the General Manager.
- Set Outside Sales Consultant team goals and ensure that they are met, removing obstacles to success.
- Verifiable history of quota busting.
- Management
- Manages 2 or more regions.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work.
- Develop Outside Sales Consultants for advancement and success by appraising and communicating job performance and expectations.
- Training
- Improve organization's industry-leading customer presentations.
- Train large groups, both in person and via video conferencing.
- Conduct field training by accompanying and evaluating personnel at sales demonstrations.
- Customer Service
- Establish and maintain a high level of quality and timely service to customers for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding installations, contract and other relevant inquiries.
- Help Outside Sales Consultants with complex customer issues - to ensure customer satisfaction.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Develop lead generation methods and techniques to promote growth beyond national call center efforts.
- Lead our Affinity Network and Fundraising Programs by developing and nurturing strong networking relationships within business community.
- Must be computer literate.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- College Degree in Sales and Marketing or other related degree, or equivalent.
- Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' proven sales and management experience.
- Multi-tasking mastery.
- Ability to set priorities and to help other do likewise.
- Experience with motivating teams.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Operate own vehicle to travel within TARGETED area to customer appointments.
COMPENSATION
- Compensation plan is composed of a roll-up of sales of Outside Sales Consultants who report directly to this position. Realistically, the Regional Sales Manager should expect a compensation package of at least $250K+ in his or her first year.
